  1. My reason for acquiring the BMU is due to hum through out my home. The hum comes from a sub station at the far end of my garden. DCT03 DC Blocker and a Longdog Audio Quartz Turntable Mains Regenorator Power Supply has helped with the problem. But if I'm honest, not trying to be contraversal, using an Entreq Grounding Box, is proving be the most effective, giving inky black silence, oh the peaceful silence [emoji18][emoji17][emoji18][emoji17]. 2. I do agree, and yet it does work. Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
  3. My thoughts on BMUs are they a solution to improve poor or irregular mains supply rather than a means to improve your system. If your mains supply is relatively stable and free from external over use, a BMU is likely to produce negative results. If like me, you live in a urban setting, near large industry, mains at 248-254v, they are essential to getting great performance out of your kit. Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

  9. In my experience Toslink cables can very the sound. But my understanding of this is due to the fit and finish at the end of cables affecting the refractive quality of light passing through it, not electrical impedance. This difference may not be necessarily down to cost, just plain workmanship. Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
