Tasty looking jam jar, Mark.

Do you think he'll let you have a play?

Actually, that's a lot more suitable than any of the suggestions above (although I really like the C6...). I think he's going to enjoy that a lot. :)

nice car, but sluggish compared to the 220, but fuel consumption will proably offset that

Mercs look great in white imo.Not a taxi in this country, more likely to get a beaten up 10 year old Toyota with fag burns all over the seats.Good choice.

Obviously, subliminally, he thinks he can still pull the birds.?

The phrase, 'old bald gits in Porsches' springs to mind!

Or...a line I read somewhere.

When a waitress is nice to you, it's not because she fancies you; she's just being nice to the old guy in the corner! (-:

(I'm one so you can respond accordingly! But I have -so far- resisted getting a Skyline 350 GT!)

I have just had the local merc salesman offer a C220 (New) estate, auto, metalic paint, in a ''new'' trim level, SE plus a bit (Leather seats) for about £27k. The trim level starts being marketed in a couple of weeks I understand. I will try and see the salesman in the next few days and get it clarified. Bit tempting.

Mark - yep it has 4 seats, as does my car, but I don't call mine a 4 seater as the back seats are not really practical. Depends on how much use and size of the kids.

The Scirocco's back seats look absolutely fine for kids to me, they're a million miles away from those in the CR-Z (I think I'm going to get a Scirocco).

Edit: The Merc your Dad chose looks lovely BTW

Well, as I've got the newer model C250, that won't be necessary :D
