The future of Hi-Fi (it's Naim)

7 posts in this topic

Hi y'all

Got an invite through the post today for an event nearby demonstrating Naim's network players NDS, NDx and ND5 XS, also the HDX hard disk server.

There aren't many dates left but for anyone interested, here's the link:-

Cheers

P.S. Forgot to put a smiley on the thread title. :)

Yes Darren, at the Village Hotel, Priory Park, Hull, 3pm to 9pm 23rd.

I wasn't planning to take up the offer (having headed in a different direction on my hifi and also not really able to get there until 7pm anyway) but if there's any other Wammers going, could be good?

No idea, I've not been invited! (I told Darren I wasn't interested....)

I did listen to some of it at the audio room recently and it's good, but way too expensive for me. I'd rather have a squeezebox, an m-dac and loads of records with the difference :)

Going in tomorrow for a chat and a listen to whatever's in. Some decent bargains to be had in the demo kit before the move to the new shop I think....

Interesting, didn't realise they were moving, I'll check that out.

Pity it's midweek, as this kit is worth an earwig I reckon - rather like Naim sources...

Yeah, it does make it a lot more difficult to get there, oh well....
