Nice pics, also just realised I must have missed half the rooms, I lost 4 hours today!

My contribution, excuse the poor quality.

def & cambs12 - Kharma, no idea what the little blue boxes are (active x-over?), anyone?

Thats the Kharma amps, 100w class D, Hypex module, electronics designed by the chap who designed the Hypex module.

Exemplary pictures; I now realise I missed out on the room with the strange speakers and Accuphase. Your photos really underline the variety of kit at Scalford. Thanks.

I did not get around to many rooms and did not take any pics - hope to sample more other rooms next year.

Here's a crude phone panoramic of our room though

All back in my room with the mid bass horns taped, glued, clamped and recovering whilst playing.

Nice pic Steve. Can I ask what size room these are in normally?

About 4.5m x 5.5m - 24.75sqm ! They are great in my room. Would happily work well in nicer acoustic bigger rooms though I am sure.

"After the Quorn room of 70sqm - WOW! Back in my room is like a putting on a favorite pair of shoes, or snuggling into a race seat / race cockpit that's been made for you - all falls into place and is right. Amazing how good and involving they sound.

Interestingly we finally hardly ran the front compression driver horns any harder than I do in my room in relation to the others! Diff between 9 o'clock and 10 o'clock on the vol controls, so only a few dB I guess.

The mid bass was diff between 10 o'clock and about 12 and the tapped horn was wound round form 10 o'clock to about 2 o'clock." - from my DIY thread.

We did at times crank the master vol round a bit more though:D

Nice pic Steve. Can I ask what size room these are in normally?

Haha - sorry I scowled at you after you took that pic. I was not in a great place right at that moment. Recovered during the curry:)

Dedication!

Scowled! If that had been me there would have been tear stains all over them!

I'm starting a 'Horn Heroes' club. You can be president.

(cheque or Voyd deck to "fat bloke you don't know, Dorset')

Ta.
