couple of funky heatsinks ordered 200mm length.

The 2SK82's dissipate around 45watts, their thermal resistance is around 0.5C/W

Sure, the only reason(s) to use lightbubs is because they look nice. :D And they have essentially a built in heatsink.

I plan to build one of these with an output transformer and a decent choke input supply/shunt reg.

What variety of o/p coupling cap do you intend using?

Not got to the stage of ordering components yet,any advice from you pro's appreciated !

all the bits now ordered,some nice transformers coming from Canterbury Windings and some trendy bulbs and big caps coming from across the pond courtesy of a crazy Wammer :^ clue he hobbles at the mo :P hope its getting better !
