Exposure 23/28 for sale

11 posts in this topic

An imminent new baby and the slowish growth of a newish business are forcing my hand a little and I'm reluctantly looking to sell the Exposures, and buy something a little less expensive (but I'm not desperate to be willing to accept low balls).

In black and minty condition. Bought from a Wam member (Tin Turkey) originally.

I have to say they really, REALLY grow on you. Rich, organic with stupendous bottom end clout and a smooth but detailed top end. In fact a couple of people were convinced I had the sub on with my little Ushers, it really does get the best of of them. More powerful than the 70wpc suggests.

I'm very happy to demo in SE London and you can bring your own speakers (providing its easy enough).

I have the remote, the manuals and all original boxing - so can send at cost to anywhere (UK preferred but not the exception).

I can email photos - but they look just like they should with no marks or scratches visible that I can see.

Looking for £1000 plus postage costs

Will accept £1000 for these two. Almost mint and very happy to demo. A lot of Amp for the money. If you are thinking of buying new at this price bracket, it would be worth trying these out.

Hello Helmut

If I'm being honest I'm not too sure. There are a few Exposure experts on here I'm sure. I needed an amp after selling my last one and don't use vinyl, so it wasn't even a thought when these came up. I've always hankered after trying Exposures after them being raved about in my youth in the likes of What hifi and hifi choice many years ago. Honestly, when things pick up, I'm going to give them another go as they sound just brilliant. At first I really missed the Berning, but after a few weeks I was pulling out Leftfield and similar material and just gobsmacked. These things do bass like a club soundsystem!

Hi James, was the phono optional on the XXIIIs?

I think there was a card option to add phono around £200 I think - you still see 3010 new cards of the bay, occasional s/h ones and its a similar amp. Drop Tony Brady at Exposure an e-mail they are supportive of their earlier kit.

This is a really good price for the amps - they are a simply superb bit of kit. Obviously I am biased but I believe they manage to combine ability to rock with a high degree of subtlety and finesse, walked all over my previous Densen's (and cost less new).
